Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket consistently shakes up the PvP meta with each new expansion set that is released. With every new collection that makes its way into the game, the total number of cards increases, creating brand-new viable strategies and synergies between both old and new cards on the scene.
Shining Revelry is one of the many expansion sets released thus far in Pokemon TCG Pocket. It has brought several notable ace Pokemon and a collection of shiny cards, much like the physical TCG's Paldean Fates and Hidden Fates sets. Among the standout cards introduced in Shining Revelry, Tinkaton ex is a new card that makes for a viable option when crafting a Metal Energy deck. If you are curious about the best potential Tinakton ex deck in Pokemon TCG Pocket, one of the best builds revolving around this Pokemon is outlined in the guide below.

Best Tinkaton ex Deck in Pokemon TCG Pocket, Explained
Tinkaton ex is a powerful ace Pokemon for Metal Type decks, largely due to its generous 170 HP and the impressive Terrific Thumping attack. This move deals a consistent 80 damage per turn, but with lucky coin flips, can dish out up to a whopping 160 damage per turn. That's more than enough to knock out several notable ex cards in a single hit.
As Tinkaton is a big hitter at the cost of taking some time to set up (since it's a 3-stage evolution), early-game offense can be applied through Skarmory. Skarmory only needs one Energy to be equipped, and you can buff this attack from 20 damage per turn to a very valuable 50 damage per turn with the use of the Giant Cape or Rocky Helmet Pokemon Tools. This is enough to cause a lot of pressure in the early game and can knock out many first-stage Pokemon in one or two hits.
The rest of the deck is filled with Pokemon Tools, Items, and Supporter cards to assist in getting your cards into play whilst also disrupting the opponent as much as possible. Team Rocket Grunt, Sabrina, and Cyrus can all be used to cleverly disrupt your opponent and set yourself up for an easy KO either with Skarmory or Tinkaton ex. Pokemon Communication, Professor's Research, and Poke Ball can assist in getting your ideal hand and key cards into play. Finally, Rocky Helmet and Giant Cape can be used to buff Skarmory in the early game or enhance Tinkaton ex in the mid-late game by enabling extra chip damage or buffing HP.
