There's a lot of currencies thrown at you once you start your card-collecting journey in Pokemon TCG Pocket --let's teach you what it all means.

Best Pawmot Deck in Pokemon TCG Pocket, Explained

pawmot deck

Pawmot's greatest advantage comes from its unique ability - Counterattack. This ability lets Pawmot deal 20 damage to the opponent's Pokemon each time they successfully attack your Active Pokemon, helping to chip away at damage and eventually lead to knockouts. Most importantly, Pokemon Abilities can be played from the bench, making Pawmot a hugely beneficial support Pokemon to play in this spot.

Pawmot operates with optimal efficiency when there is a primary ace Pokemon to take on the main DPS role, hugely benefitting from Pawmot's Counterattack. Pikachu ex makes a great contender for this role, due to having a solid 120 HP, but more importantly, the ability to deal 150 damage in a single turn through the Thunderbolt attack.

However, as Thunderbolt discards all Energy from Pikachu ex, you will also need a way to sustain this cost and keep fueling Thunderbolt as frequently as possible. Pachirisu comes in clutch for this purpose, as at the cost of just one Energy, it can deal 10 damage to the opponent through the Plasma attack, but more importantly, equip an additional Lightning Energy to a benched Pokemon (Pikachu ex) per turn. Essentially, you'll want to lead with Pachrisu while you build up your bench with Pawmot and Pikachu ex, then switch in for a huge hit and easy KO.

Lastly, the deck is rounded out with various Item/Supporter cards to assist in this strategy. Rocky Helmet pairs nicely with Pawmot's Counterattack to bump damage redelivered to 40 per turn when your Active Pokemon is hit. Dawn helps assist with Energy, and X Speed, Iono, and Cyrus help in switching your Pokemon in and out and disrupting your opponent's strategy to help put yourself in a favorable spot.
