Meowscarada has emerged as a powerful new ace for Grass Type Decks, carrying a solid 140 HP for a non-ex card, and being able to attack to deal up to 130 damage with only 2 Energy being attached. This attack, Fighting Claws, will deal 60 damage on a base level, but ramp up to 130 against any opposition that happens to be an ex card. This poses a nice threat to a meta that often heavily relies on/utilizes one or more ace Pokemon in the top decks, giving Meowscarada some nice impact.

Exeggutor ex operates as a nice secondary Pokemon in this deck, as it is also a strong attacker. As Exeggutor ex is only a second-stage evolution, Exeggcute and Exeggutor ex make a strong lead while you set up Meowscarada on the bench. It has the huge advantage of only needing one Energy to attack and is capable of dealing a minimum of 40 damage, and a maximum of 80 damage, from this attack. This is more than enough to knock out almost any early-mid stage non-ex Pokemon in one or two turns, as well as being enough to make a heavy dent in many opposing ex cards.

Lastly, the deck is supplied with notable Items/Supporter cards. Erika can provide solid healing for Grass Types, helping to keep Meowscarada and/or Exeggutor ex in play. Iono helps to disrupt the opponent from setting up their strategy and getting key cards into play.
