Best Bibarel ex Deck in Pokemon TCG Pocket, Explained

Bidoof and Bibarel are Colorless Energy Type Pokemon, meaning that they can either play into any Colorless Deck, or slot into any Deck of another Type and utilize that kind of Energy. Bibarel is a great ace Pokemon to play, as it has a very solid 160 HP, which can be further buffed with the inclusion of Giant Cape to help give even more of an edge. However, most importantly, Bibarel ex is capable of dealing a massive 100 damage per turn whilst also healing itself for 30 HP.

As this does not require unequipping Energies to do so, essentially you will want to set up Bibarel ex and get it into the Active Spot as quickly as possible. Wigglytuff ex makes the perfect supporting Pokemon to play on the bench when Bibarel ex is in the Active Spot, due to the Comforting Song ability. This ability, which can be played once per turn from the bench, can heal 20 damage from your Active Pokemon (Bibarel ex) - therefore giving it even more sustain.

That leaves Manaphy as your early game/lead Pokemon, most importantly due to the Oceanic Gift move. This move requires just one Water Energy to function but equips one Water Energy each to 2 benched Pokemon of your choice - and as both Wigglytuff and Bibarel ex are Colorless Pokemon, they can function with the Water Energy manapy provides. Pretty much, Manaphy can assist in quickly fueling up both Jigglypuff/Wigglytuff and Bidoof/Bibarel to help with your setup and enable you to make a big pivot into dealing heavy damage whilst enabling Bibarel ex to tank incoming hits, outliving the opponent.

Cyrus can force a disruption into your opponent's strategy and set you up for an easy KO. Leaf reduces retreat cost to help you smoothly swap Bibarel ex into play, and Irida assists with even more sustain/HP regeneration, ensuring Bibarel stays in that critical Active Pokemon spot.
