Pokemon TCG has revealed something really cool for the upcoming spooky season. Last year was the first year that this special edition Halloween Pokemon TCG cards were released, both giving people something extra special to give away to trick-or-treaters or something cool to collect themselves.

The Trick or Trade BOOster packs are coming back once again. These packs are a lot different from the standard booster packs Pokemon TCG fans already know and love. This guide will go in-depth and explain the differences between these packs so players can be ready to dive into this spooky card trading treat.

How Do Trick Or Trade Booster Packs Work?

These booster packs work differently than the basic booster cards that players are used to, instead of containing 10 cards (12 if including the energy and code card), buyers will only get 3 cards per pack. One bundle of Pokemon TCG Trick or Trade BOOster comes with 40 mini-packs, adding a total of 3 cards per 40 packs makes for 120 cards altogether.

As mentioned above, these cards are themed around Pokemon and Halloween, meaning that there is a jack-o-lantern Pikachu on each card. The set is supposed to contain 30 different cards, having 10 holographic ones in the set. Take a look at the list from last year of all the cards included in the set from then.

The Pokemon TCG Trick or Trade BOOster packs were designed to be able to be given out during trick-or-treating as a fun way to spend Pokemon love with children everywhere. Not only did The Pokemon Company succeed with that, but they also gave fans something new and fun to collect.

For 2023's pack of cards, there isn't any confirmation on if these cards will be the same as last year's or if they will be completely new and different cards, probably leaning more toward the latter, giving players even more cards to collect this year. It is very likely that players will have a bunch of card packs left over depending on how quickly they pull all 30 cards, meaning they will see have some Pokemon left to give out!

This pretty much explains everything to know about the Pokemon TCG Trick or Trader BOOster bundle. This product is available for pre-order, where most Pokemon cards are sold. Be sure to order them before the spooky season to be assured of getting some before they sell out. The latest set to purchase is the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet card set.
