New Pokemon fan art has imagined what fairy-type Eevee evolution Sylveon would look like if it had a human form. Sylveon is the latest Eevee evolution introduced to the Pokemon franchise, making its debut all the way back in 2013's Pokemon X and Y on the Nintendo 3DS.
Sylveon is one of many Eevee evolutions, which have been a staple of the Pokemon franchise since the original games. There are still some Pokemon types that have yet to be represented by official Eevee evolutions, but Pokemon fans hold out hope that they will be added eventually. In the meantime, dedicated Pokemon fans continue to pay tribute to the existing Eevee evolutions.
Fan artists have imagined Eevee and its evolutions as humans before, but new takes are always welcome. Reddit user Comprehensive-Mix-61 is the latest to reimagine Sylveon as a human, designing a human form for the creature that retains its distinctive pink color scheme. Sylveon's signature scarf/bow is also represented in the design.
It's not uncommon for fan artists to create designs inspired by Eevee and its evolutions. Other times, artists take matters into their own hands and create brand-new Eevee evolutions themselves. Countless artists have tried their hands at creating Poison-type, Ghost-type, Rock-type, and other Eevee forms since official ones still do not exist at the time of this writing. It's unclear if new Eevee evolutions will ever be introduced, but considering the Pokemon's popularity, one has to imagine that it's at least being considered.
The latest Pokemon games, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, did not introduce any new forms for Eevee. There's a chance that the upcoming Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC will finally introduce new Eevee evolutions, but fans shouldn't hold their breath. While it's been confirmed that the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC will add new Pokemon to the mix, it's highly unlikely that one of the new Pokemon will be something as high profile as a new Eevee evolution.
While it's unlikely that Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will ever have a new Eevee evolution, fans have hope that the next generation of Pokemon games might come through. The Generation 10 Pokemon games are likely years away from being announced, let alone released, but whenever they do come around, fans will be anxiously waiting to learn if they have new Eevee evolutions on offer. For now, Pokemon fans will have to keep busy checking out fan projects, watching the new episodes of the Pokemon anime, and preparing for the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC.
