A talented Pokemon fan has recently given Sylveon a second type by redesigning this popular Eeveelution as a Fairy/Flying creature. Eevee and its evolutions are among the cutest Pokemon ever made, and that’s why the Eeveelutions appear in adorable fan art so often.
There’s no doubt that Eevee is one of the most popular Pokemon alongside Charizard and Pikachu. Half of its charm comes from being a mixture of cat, rabbit, and fox, and the other half is because Eevee has so many evolutions. While Eevee could initially only evolve to Jolteon, Flareon, and Vaporeon, it now has eight evolutions in total, and Sylveon, a Fairy-type Pokemon, is the latest one. Sylveon was introduced in the sixth generation with Pokemon X and Y and has become a fan-favorite since then due to its cute, pink design.
Now, one Pokemon fan decided to make Sylveon look much more adorable by giving it a Fairy/Flying-type form. Emoji_xoxo kept their creation similar to the original design of Sylveon but added some noticeable changes, such as small butterfly wings, and a few clouds and stars surrounding its body. What makes this alternative Sylveon stand out is that by adding the second type, the original one becomes more evident, as the Pokemon looks even more like a fairy. So far, no official Eeveelutions have two types and, according to emoji_xoxo, Flying and Fairy are their favorite kinds of Pokemon, which is how the idea for this creation started. While the author did not clarify in the post whether this was a different regional version of Sylveon, a unique Eeveelution, or something else entirely, emoji_xoxo hinted in the comments of the post this could be a Mega Evolution for Sylveon.
This is not the only Flying-type version of an Eeveelution that has been shared online, though. Another fan unveiled Flying and Steel evolutions for Eevee. The Flying-type creature was named Cloudeon, and it resembled a long, slim Eevee wearing a cloud scarf, while the other was named Knighton, and it appeared to use a heavy armor set.
Also, as October is the spookiest month of the year, another person devised nine Halloween-themed Eeveelutions: Spookeon, Candeon, Witcheon, Pumpkeon, Vampeon, Howleon, Mummeon, Swampeon, and Cerbeon. Unlike their official counterparts, these creations don’t have real types, However, they take inspiration from monsters and Halloween-themed objects such as pumpkins, which is a pretty nice twist for a more horror-focused design.
