A talented Pokemon fan created six adorable Halloween-themed outfits for Snorlax. Every trick-or-treat season, skillful Pokemon fans combine their love for the franchise with their love for Halloween to make incredible fan art and share it with the community.
The Pokemon fanbase is a very active one, with fans producing fan creations every day. Out of over a thousand monsters listed in the Pokedex, Snorlax is a popular choice for fan art. As one of the best Normal-type Pokemon, the lazy giant has remained a fan favorite since Generation 1. More often than not, fan art pieces based on Snorlax lean towards the cozy side rather than the scary. But one Pokemon fan managed to give Snorlax multiple looks that are as adorable as they are spooky.
Pokemon Gen 10 Location Possibly Hinted at By Reliable Leaker
A reputable Pokemon leaker seemingly teases fans about what they can expect from the Generation 10 region.
Reddit user MunchyKu designed six Snorlax redesigns in the spirit of Halloween. Snorlax's original design shines because of its simplicity, but these spooky outfits prove that the Gen 1 Pokemon can be stylish too. One of the designs gives Snorlax a witch costume with a broom and hat included, while another turns it into an eerie string puppet. There is also a spider Snorlax, a jack-o'-lantern one, and more chilling yet cute variations of the sleepy monster. Even though Snorlax isn't one of the creepiest Pokemon in the Dex, it is looking ready for Halloween in these outfits.
Pokemon Fan Gives Snorlax Six Halloween Designs
It is worth noting that MunchyKu has already shared more incredible Pokemon redesigns in the past. Previously, the artist showed off a series of Halloween variants of Gastly, and another set of scary outfits for Bulbasaur before that. While the Pokemon community enjoys creating fan art during many holidays, it is particularly keen on celebrating the spooky season. The franchise itself introduced Ghost-type Pokemon early in Gen 1 and fans have been fond of linking Halloween with Pokemon since then. October has only just begun, so players can expect more Pokemon fan art in the weeks to come.
Aside from incredible Halloween-themed fan creations, October has more great news for Pokemon fans. A major event is coming to Pokemon GO on October 8, which will let players catch Shadow versions of Beldum, Ralts, and Galarian Zigzagoon for the first time. A Raid Day event featuring Mega Mawile is also coming to the game on October 12. Hopefully, this spooky season will live up to players' expectations, considering that recent Pokemon GO events like the Galar Cup were not too popular among fans.
