Pokemon Sleep is one of the few games that does not require players to devote too much of their time to progress. Players are required to sleep for the most part, but that does not mean there aren't different ways of improving their output.

The primary goal of the game is to improve Snorlax's strength so as to improve its overall Drowsy Power. A higher Drowsy Power ensures that rare Pokemon with unique sleep styles appear. In order to increase Snorlax's strength, it is important to pick the best Pokemon.

Pokemon that are included in the S tier are almost perfect in every regard. Aside from being excellent choices for a specific island, they also work on any team.

Pokemon

Description

Raichu

  • Raichu is indubitably the best Pokemon in the game. It has low base frequency, which means it can collect berries quickly. Despite the lack of a dedicated island for Electric-type, Raichu's speed makes it useful even on random teams. Before investing, make sure that your Pichu has Berry Finding S and Helping Speed S/M.

Dragonite

  • Dragonite was introduced as a part of Lapis Lakeside. It can collect Yache Berry, which has an extremely high base value. Dragonite can gather Fiery Herb, Greengrass Corn, and Pure Oil, all three of which are great ingredients.

Gardevoir

  • Gardevoir's specialty is Skills. The Pokemon has Energy for Everyone S Main Skill, making it a staple for any team. Gardevior's Main Skill triggers quite frequently, mainly because of its low base frequency. With multiple triggers, your team is bound to perform better.

Gengar

  • Gengar is an Ingredient specialist, and it is also one of the fastest Pokemon in the game. With the right nature, it can gather ingredients in next to no time.

Charizard

  • All three Kanto starters are excellent choices for people who are looking for Ingredient specialists. However, Charizard manages to edge out his fellow Pokemon due to his lower base frequency.

Ampharos

  • Ampharos has access to Charge Strength M, a very powerful Main Skill. If the skill is maxed, a single trigger can increase Snorlax's strength by 6409. If you don't have an Ampharos, the next best option is an Espeon.

Typhlosion

  • Typhlosion is the best berry Pokemon for Taupe Hollow. It gathers Leppa Berry, which is one of Snorlax's preferred berries for the island. With a low base frequency, Typhlosion will ensure that your Snorlax is well-fed.

Wigglytuff

  • Wigglytuff used to be the best option for players if they wanted to recover their team's energy. But it has fallen down the ranks because of Gardevoir. If you can't find a good Ralts, it is better to invest in a Wigglytuff.

Blastoise

  • Blastoise is the best Pokemon for weeks when Snorlax wants desserts. It can gather Soothing Cacao and Moomoo Milk, both of which are used in many desserts.

Walrein

  • Players who want to catch Pokemon in Snowdrop Tundra will want to get their hands on a Spheal with Berry Finding S. When it evolves into a Walrein, it will be your main source of Rawst Berries on the island.

Description

Sylveon

  • Sylveon is one of the best evolutions of Eevee in Pokemon Sleep. The Pokemon is a Skills specialist, and it can recover energy for your teams. However, it is behind the likes of Gardevoir and Wigglytuff.

Meganium

  • Meganium's standing improved after the release of Lapis Lakeside. It is a must-have Pokemon for Lapis Lakeside. Aside from its ability to gather berries quickly, Meganium also has Charge Strength S, which increases Snorlax's strength by a variable amount.

Feraligatr

  • Like its fellow Johto starters, Feraligatr is a great choice for players who carry out their research on Cyan Beach. Feraligatr is a Berry specialist, so he can collect Oran Berries to improve Snorlax's strength.

Venusaur

  • Venusaur may not be as quick as Blastoise and Charizard, but that doesn't make him a bad option. Players can use Venusaur to make various dishes. It can gather Honey and Snoozy Tomatoes, which cover Salads, Desserts, and Curries.

Espeon

  • Espeon is the second-best option if you want a Pokemon with Charge Strength M on your team. If you have been unable to find a good Mareep, then you can try your luck with an Eevee and evolve it into Espeon. The biggest drawback of Espeon is that you have to share 150 hours of sleep with an Eevee to evolve it into one.

Tyranitar

  • Tyranitar is another solid option in Pokemon Sleep. It can accumulate plenty of ingredients without any problem. However, players will spend a lot of candies and Dream Shards to evolve Larvitar into a Tyranitar. Therefore, it is better to invest in this Pokemon after you have built good teams for all the islands.
