How To Get Raikou In Pokemon Sleep

Players need to follow various steps before they can get ahold of Raikou. First, they must make sure that they are conducting their Sleep Research on Greengrass Island. Going to the other areas means that Raikou won't appear.

Next, players should put several Electric-type Pokemon on their team. They should put Raichu, Jolteon, Ampharos, etc. This is mainly because Grepa Berry will be one of Snorlax's favorite berries. So, put the best Electric-type Berry specialists on your team. Thanks to the Electric-type event, most players must have caught at least one decent Electric-type.

Finally, players need to gather multiple Raikou Mane and exchange them for Raikou Incense and Biscuits. Raikou Incense ensures that the legendary beast is guaranteed to appear. Meanwhile, the biscuits raise Raikou's friendship points by six.

How To Get Raikou Mane In Pokemon Sleep

Raikou Mane can be obtained in the following ways:

Conducting Sleep Research on Greengrass Isle: Simply move to Greengrass Isle and hit the sleep button
Limited-time missions: Hit the weekly goals
Raikou Bundles: They can be purchased from the shop
Via Research Community: Higher friendship level increases the odds of getting Raikou Mane

Once you have obtained enough Raikou Mane exchange for Raikou Incense and other rewards. Raikou has 30 friendship points. So, it will take a while to max it out. An important thing to note is that the first Raikou will have the same subskills for all the players. But any additional Raikou will have different subskills.

Once the event has ended, players can still encounter Raikou on Greengrass Isle, but the chances will be extremely low.

As it is a special Pokemon, you can only put one Raikou per team.

Can Raikou Be Shiny In Pokemon Sleep?

The in-game announcements don't state that Raikou is shiny-locked. So there is a good chance that players might be able to snag a shiny Raikou. However, for that, they will have to catch more than one Raikou, as the first one will be the same for everyone.
