Deleting a Pokemon Sleep account might not be on many players’ bucket lists. But sometimes, letting go of the old profile is the only viable option. With the Pokemon Company’s new venture into the sleep-tracking business, some players wonder if there’s a way to remove personal data from the game or cancel premium subscriptions by deleting accounts. This guide, therefore, explains every step of account removal in Pokemon Sleep and offers some tips for using it as a rerolling technique to get better Pokemon.
How to Delete an Account in Pokemon Sleep
Pokemon Sleep players should head to Settings and More to delete their accounts. The option is in the “Other” section of the General Settings below Data Sharing.
Here’s a step-by-step guide for deleting a Pokemon Sleep account:
- Go to Main Menu.
- Select Settings and More.
- Tap the General Settings option.
- Open the “Other” tab.
- Scroll down to the Delete Account section.
- Select “Delete My Account” to permanently remove the Pokemon Sleep profile.
Unlike transferring account data, removing a Pokemon Sleep account doesn’t require a player ID or code.
How to Restore Data After Deleting the Account
Unfortunately, there is no way to restore a deleted Pokemon Sleep account. The game warns players about losing all data upon deletion and asks them to confirm their decision multiple times.
What Gets Removed After Pokemon Sleep Account Deletion
The account removal process might take up to 24 hours and will delete the following data:
- All play records and data.
- All items (including diamonds).
- Premium Pass Rewards.
- Data from Pokemon GO Plus +.
Deleting a Pokemon Sleep account won’t automatically cancel the Premium Pass membership.
How to Cancel Premium Pass After Deleting the Account
After removing a Pokemon Sleep account, players must cancel their subscriptions from the respective app store. For that, they must visit the Payments & Subscriptions section on their app store and manually opt out of the membership.
How to Reroll Pokemon Using the Account Deletion Method
At the start of Pokemon Sleep’s campaign, Professor gives players a Pikachu companion with a random nature. However, players can delete their account and log back into the game for a chance to reroll and get a Pokemon with a better Nature.
Note that the account deletion rerolling method only applies to the first Pokemon. There is currently no known way to change the Nature of other creatures after befriending them.
