The Pokemon Company and Nintendo first announced Pokemon Scarlet and Violet at a Pokemon Presents event in February 2022. The reveal included a trailer that gave fans their first look at the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet region and the starters they'll be able to choose from at the beginning of their journey. Four months later in June, the second trailer finally dropped, revealing more of the new Pokemon that players will be able to catch in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have been quiet since the second trailer dropped at the beginning of June, but fans now know when to expect the highly-anticipated Pokemon Scarlet and Violet trailer 3. The next Pokemon Presents event has a date and time, with fans told to tune in Wednesday, August 3 at 6am PT. Fans are promised to get an update on Pokemon Scarlet and Violet during the Pokemon Presents, which means it's highly likely that Trailer 3 will drop at that point.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet trailer 3 is easily the most-anticipated thing coming out of the Pokemon Presents. It will likely give Pokemon fans looks at some other brand-new Pokemon set to debut in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, not to mention some of the Pokemon that may be returning from past games. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet trailer 3 may also reveal more information about some of the new Pokemon that have already been revealed for the games, like the starters, for instance.

When is the Next Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Trailer Coming Out?

  • Wednesday, August 3 at 6am PT

Fans have been eagerly waiting to see the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet starter evolutions, though it's unclear if they will actually be revealed ahead of the games' launch. It's also unclear if the starters will get any more spotlight in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet trailer 3, but fans will likely find out if they tune in to the Pokemon Presents event on Wednesday, August 3 at 6am PT. Even if the starters aren't featured, though, fans are sure to learn more about Pokemon Scarlet and Violet and what the new games will entail when they launch exclusively for the Nintendo Switch later this year.

Of course, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet aren't the only Pokemon games out there. Since this is a Pokemon Presents event and not simply a new trailer for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet dropping, fans can expect to learn more about the various other Pokemon projects that are in the works. A highly likely possibility is that the MOBA Pokemon Unite will be featured during the Pokemon Presents event. It's unknown how Pokemon Unite will be represented, but the safe bet is that it will announce a new Pokemon for the roster.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet launch November 18, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
