Aside from getting a chance to get shiny variants of Pichu, Pikachu, Raichu, and Mimikyu, players will also get a chance to get Alolan Raichu for the first time ever in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet.

The last major update for Pokemon Scarlet & Violet was the Epilogue, bringing back the iconic team from the base game. The Pikachu and Friends Mass Outbreak event kicks off on July 12th and players have until July 25th to make the most of the event. Alongside that, players also have the chance to take part in the 7-Star Pikachu Tera Raid as well.

Players need to follow the given steps to take part in the Pikachu and Friends Mass Outbreak event.

  • Make sure Pokemon Scarlet & Violet is updated to the latest version.
  • Start the game and press the X Button to access the Menu.
  • Then press the L button to Connect to the Internet.
  • Next, access the Poke Portal
  • Select Mystery Gift.
  • Click on Check Poke Portal News.

This should download the latest Poke Portal news which will include the details about the Pikachu and Friends Mass Outbreak event, and players will able to see Pichu, Pikachu, Raichu, Alolan Raichu, and Mimikyu on the map.
