All Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Mystery Gift Rewards

The Mystery Gift function is almost as old as Pokemon itself, having been around since the release of the Gen 2 games back in the late nineties. There are a few different ways to download Mystery Gifts in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet. Some simply require players to connect to the internet and check for unclaimed gifts, while others will require them to input a special code given out via social media or in certain participating stores. Either way, it's usually a relatively straightforward process providing players know when gifts become available.

How to Download Mystery Gifts

It should perhaps go without saying, but those hoping to download Mystery Gifts in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet are going to need an active internet connection. Assuming they have one, they should open up the menu by pressing the X button and then navigating to the Poke Portal. From here, it's a simple case of selecting the "Mystery Gift" option from the bottom of the list and then choosing the distribution method that they require.

If they have a code, they'll want to select "Get with Code/Password" and then input the code on the following screen. Anything else can be claimed simply by clicking on "Get via Internet." Players can also see a list of every Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Mystery Gift that they've claimed so far by choosing the "Check Mystery Gifts" option. Unlike some of the other online functions in the Gen 9 games, players will not need a Nintendo Switch Online membership in order to claim Mystery Gifts.
