Pokemon Scarlet & Violet's Indigo Disk adds a plethora of interesting stuff to the game, but the return of some fan-favorite legendaries like Necrozma has been one of the major talking points.

The Psychic-type Legendary Pokemon from Generation 7, is part of the Light Trio alongside the likes of Solgaleo and Lunala. It is also one of those rare legendaries with more than one signature move, comprising of Prismatic Laser and Photon Geyser. Here is how players can catch Necrozma in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet's Indigo Disk DLC.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's Pokedex is now incredibly diverse thanks to the Indigo Disk DLC, but tons of Pokemon are still overlooked.

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: How To Get Necrozma Treat

Obtaining the Necrozma treat involves a similar process as the other legendaries, however, there is a slight catch. Usually, players would be required to complete the base game, the Teal Mask DLC, and the Indigo Disk DLC, which concludes with catching Terapagos. Right after that, Snacksworth appears outside the Blueberry Academy and players can get a legendary treat for every 10 solo Blueberry Quest or one group quest they complete. However, things are a bit different for getting the Necrozma treat.

Necrozma is locked behind group BBQs, which means that players will need to take part in a Union Circle and then complete a Group Quest to get the treat. While players only need to complete one of these, what makes getting this Pokemon trickier is that players need to play the game online to get the treat. If, by any chance, players don't get the Necrozma Treat from Snacksworth after completing the quest, due to its random nature, they can simply reroll by restarting the game.

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: How To Find Necrozma

Necrozma can be found north of the Casseroya Lake fast travel point, in the Socarrat Trail. Players can simply fast-travel to the islet, and then use Koraidon/Miraidon to fly northwards. Once they reach a cliff with a waterfall, they need to use Koraidon/Miraidon once again to climb it. Precisely, players need to climb from the left side of the waterfall and reach a platform right before the top of the cliff. Necrozma can be found standing right at the edge of the platform. If players don't find Necrozma there, usually moving closer to the edge of the platform towards the waterfall should help.

Necrozma is weak against Bug, Ghost, and Dark-type moves, so if players want to whittle down its HP quickly, they should use Pokemon with those movesets. However, it is crucial to note that Necrozma is going to be level 70, so if players use Pokemon way beyond that level, there is a very good probability that Necrozma will get knocked out. Since this is not a guaranteed catch, players will lose the opportunity to catch Necrozma, and the only way to prevent that is by quickly restarting the game before it saves. Using attacks that leave the Pokemon at 1 HP such as False Swipe along with status conditions are some of the best ways to catch Necrozma in the game.
