Pokemon Scarlet & Violet's Indigo Disk DLC has added a pretty interesting way to get legendaries in the game, and fans are quite curious to learn more about how they can get the Legendary Beast Entei.

Entei is one of the most popular legendaries in the Pokemon universe, featuring back in Generation 2 alongside the likes of Raikou and Suicune. While the absence of these old legendaries in the base game was something that fans weren't happy with, the Indigo Disk DLC not only adds Entei, but several other legendaries alongside it. Here is how players can get Entei in the game.

Despite being the ideal candidate for a new Paradox form, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have missed out on one Mythical Pokemon's untapped potential.

How To Get Entei Treat

First things first, getting Entei is only possible after beating the main campaign of the Indigo Disk DLC. This means that players also need to beat the base game as well as the Teal Mask DLC, as progressing in the Indigo Disk DLC beyond a point is not possible without it. Once that's done and players have caught Terapagos, they can return to the main entrance of the Blueberry Academy to find Snacksworth towards the right of the main desk.

For every Group Blueberry Quest or 10 solo BBQ players complete, they will get a treat from Snacksworth which will allow them to catch a specific Pokemon. Whether players will get an Entei treat or not depends totally on RNG; however, players can save the game before approaching Snackworth and simply restart it after getting the treat to reroll what they get.

It is not possible to catch Entei without getting the respective treat from Snacksworth.

How To Find Entei

To find Entei, players need to first fast-travel to the Levinicia Lighthouse. From there, players need to head further north and reach the edge of the next protruding cliff. Entei can be found standing right next to the fencing on the edge of the cliff. It might not appear from afar, but once players move closer to the fence, then it should spawn.

As far as defeating Entei goes, it is weak to Water, Ground, and Rock-type moves. However, it is probably a good idea to avoid using super-effective moves against Entei, especially if players are using high-level Pokemon, to avoid knocking it out. Pokemon with status-inflicting attacks such as sleep or paralysis can further improve the catch rates as well. Additionally, if players knock it out by accident, then simply restarting the game should ensure that players don't miss out on the chance to catch the Pokemon.
