According to recent leaks, the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Teal Mask DLC will give players the chance to catch a Bloodmoon Ursaluna and a new Pokemon called Sinistcha. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are set to release their Teal Mask DLC on September 13, giving fans the chance to explore some brand-new areas and expand their roster of Pokemon.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have revealed six Pokemon debuting in The Teal Mask in an official capacity: Munkidori, Okidogi, Fezandipiti, Ogerpon, Dipplin, and Poltchageist. All of these Pokemon have been revealed in the various trailers that have been released for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's Teal Mask DLC, but it seems Game Freak and Nintendo were hoping fans wouldn't find out about the other new Pokemon until the launch of the Teal Mask on September 13.
Leakers have revealed that Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's Teal Mask DLC will be adding a new Pokemon called Bloodmoon Ursaulana, as well as Sinistcha, with the latter apparently being in the same evolution line as Poltchageist. According to the leaked information shared by Centro Leaks on Twitter, it seems that Bloodmoon Ursaluna will only be available if players catch it in that form - players can't evolve Ursaring into a Bloodmoon Ursaluna. Fans should keep in mind that none of this has been officially announced just yet, and so they should take this info with a grain of salt for now.
Bloodmoon Ursaluna is believed to be a Ground/Steel-type, though the leakers were unable to confirm that with 100% certainty. It looks like a darker take on Ursaluna, with a red moon-shaped symbol on its forehead and one darkened eye. Sinistcha, meanwhile, looks like a Poltchageist without its container. It's unclear if Poltchageist evolves into Sinistcha or vice versa, or if the two Pokemon have some other kind of relationship to each other.
In the meantime, leakers have also revealed some information about Ogerpon, the new Legendary Pokemon that will be making its franchise debut in the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Teal Mask DLC. According to the leaks, Ogerpon will have multiple masks that represent different types. The examples given were Water-type, Rock-type, and Fire-type.
Luckily, Pokemon fans don't have to wait too much longer to find out if there's any truth to these latest leaks. The Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Teal Mask DLC release date is right around the corner on September 13, and so fans will soon be able to continue their adventures in the latest Pokemon games.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are out now, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
