Pokemon Scarlet & Violet's highly anticipated Mochi Mayhem Epilogue has finally been released, and as with every expansion, fans are curious to learn more about how they can access the new content.

While Game Freak did a pretty good job keeping the initial reveal trailer quite cryptic, the subtle hints were enough to give away that the update will be focused around the mythical Pokemon Pecharunt. Not to forget, fans have been yearning for more adventures with their iconic party from the Paldea region comprising of Arven, Penny, and Nemona after their adventures in Area Zero, and the developers seem to be delivering on all fronts for fans. For players wondering how they can kickstart their final adventure, here is all they need to know.

How To Start Mochi Mayhem Epilogue & Get Mythical Pecha Berry

In order to start the Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Epilogue, players need to first get the Mythical Pecha Berry. This item can be obtained via a Mystery Gift. For players who aren't aware of how to get Mystery Gifts, the process is quite simple.

All they need to do is open the in-game menu by pressing the X key and selecting Poke Portal. Players should select Mystery Gift from the Poke Portal and then choose "Get via Internet." Upon accepting the prompt to connect to the internet, they will be able to see the Mythical Pecha Berry mystery gift.

It is important to note that players do not need a Nintendo Switch Online subscription to get Mystery Gifts.

After getting the Mythical Pecha Berry, players should fast-travel to the Community Center in Mossui Town, in the Kitakami region. From the Community Center, head towards the left to find Peachy's stall. At the stall, instead of interacting with Peachy, players should stand a bit towards the left and interact with the pink-colored object at Peachy's stall. This will trigger a cutscene with Arven and kick off the Mochi Mayhem Epilogue. Players will need to fast travel to Cabo Poco, where they will meet their party for one last adventure.

Do You Need To Complete The Game To Start The Epilogue?

As was the case with the Indigo Disk DLC, players will need to complete all the pieces of content released so far to start the epilogue. This means apart from the base game, players will need to complete the Teal Mask DLC, which concludes with catching Ogerpon, and the Indigo Disk DLC, which concludes with catching Terapagos --you'll also need to take part in the Academy Ace Tournament.
