A second limited-time distribution event has begun for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, allowing players to receive a random selection of sandwich ingredients. Sandwiches are an integral part of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, being necessary to complete the Pokedex efficiently and help find shinies, so many players will be thankful for the chance to get their hands on a large amount of ingredients for free.Within the latest set of Pokemon games, players can craft sandwiches from an array of ingredients in return for several useful effects, such as an increase in the chance for Pokemon of a particular type to spawn. Rarer ingredients, such as Herba Mystica, can even increase the base chance of shiny Pokemon spawning in the wild. For players in the pursuit of these rare Pokemon, sandwiches are a vital part of the game. Now, following the success of the first Pokemon Scarlet and Viole t sandwich distribution event, which will continue to run until January 31, 2022, a second event has begun, which will provide players with further ingredients. In what will be a week-long event leading up to Christmas, a new Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Mystery Gift code will be revealed each day, giving players who enter it one random assortment of ingredients from a list:

- 5 Bacon, 5 Ham, 5 Prosciutto, 5 Chorizo, 5 Herbed Sausage, and 5 Hamburger
- 5 Curry Powder, 5 Rice, 5 Noodles, 5 Cheese, and 5 Egg
- 5 Bacon, 5 Lettuce, 5 Tomato, 5 Cheese, 5 Mayonnaise, and 5 Mustard
- 5 Smoked Fillet, 5 Rice, 5 Wasabi, 5 Salt, and 5 Vinegar
- 5 Chili Sauce, 5 Jalapeño, 5 Curry Powder, 5 Wasabi, and 5 Horseradish
- 5 Cherry Tomatoes, 5 Cucumber, 5 Green Bell Pepper, 5 Avocado, 5 Red Onion, and 5 Watercress

The first code for the event was T0MAT0SL1CE, and today's new code is LETTUCEBAC0N. Players can enter both of these codes to receive two selections of ingredients. These codes are valid until 14:59 UTC, December 18, 2022, with more will be revealed during the lead up to Christmas. Players searching for some of the rarest shiny Pokemon in Scarlet and Violet should ensure they pick up as many free ingredients as possible.
