A new Pokemon Scarlet and Violet distribution has begun, and players can claim Roy's Fuecoco for a limited time. The event celebrates the start of the Terastal Debut arc in the Pokemon anime in April this year and will be available to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players until January 31, 2025.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have been getting regular updates since their release in 2022. The most notable releases are the DLCs The Teal Mask, The Indigo Disk, and the epilogue Mochi Mayhem, which brought new adventures to Pokemon fans in Kitakami and Unova. In addition, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have been receiving new events regularly, such as Tera Raids and Mystery Code distributions. The distribution events give Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players the chance to redeem items and add Pokemon to their Pokedex for free.
Now Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have started another distribution, this time giving away Roy's Fuecoco. Using the code 909TEAMUP06 until January 31, 2025, players will add to their Pokedex a Fuecoco based on the one Roy uses in his adventures in the Pokemon anime. This level 5 Fuecoco has Tera-type Fire and the ability Blaze, knows Tackle, Ember, and has a Hardy Nature. Roy's Fuecoco also comes in a regular Poke Ball with Partner and Classic Ribbons. Fans who attended the Pokemon Horizons panel at San Diego Comic-Con this week also got a card with the same code to claim Fuecoco.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Give Away Fan-Favorite Pokemon in New Distribution
Fuecoco stands out for having solid stats for a starter Pokemon, and for its carefree and goofy nature that quickly won the hearts of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players. In Pokemon Horizons, Fuecoco was a wild Pokemon from Paldea until it joined the Rising Volt Tacklers' journey around the world and became a fan of Friede's Charizard. Eventually, Roy and Fuecoco met and became great friends, with Roy joining Friede's group and becoming a trainer of the charismatic crocodilian Fire-type.
While the distribution of Roy's Fuecoco only ends next year, this isn't the only freebie available to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players. Until September 30, players can use the code L1K0W1TH906 to claim Liko's Sprigatito and the code D0T1STPARTNER until November 30 to get Dot's Quaxly, adding starters based on the Pokemon anime to their Pokedex. Other active distributions include Cetitan (L1KEAFLUTE), Revavroom (Fighting Tera Type) (TEAMSTAR), and Gimmighoul (Chest Form) (SEEYOU1NPALDEA) which end on August 31, October 31, and November 30, respectively.
