How to Claim a Shiny Wo-Chien in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Announced on the official Pokemon Scarlet and Violet website, players can now claim a shiny Wo-Chien as a Mystery Gift as a reward for the recent Tera Raid Battle event. This Mystery Gift is currently available for all players and can be redeemed any time until September 30, 2025, at 4:59 p.m. PDT. Based on the results of the event, there is also an additional Mystery Gift of Grass, Ice, Ground, and Fire Tera Shards. A total of ten sets of these Tera Shard rewards were earned, totaling 100 of each shard in the Mystery Gift.

Wo-Chien Tera Raid Battle Guide Pokemon Scarlet & Violet

To get a Shiny Wo-Chien, players needed to achieve a total of one million wins in Tera Battle Raids against the Wo-Chien in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet during last month's event. During that time, a total of 6,078,885 victories were achieved, reaching the limit of ten sets of Tera Shard Mystery Gifts along with the Shiny Wo-Chien.

Players can get the Shiny Wo-Chien by going to the Poke Portal in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet through the X menu. Next, select Mystery Gift, then Get Via Internet, to see the Shiny Wo-Chien gift option and select it. If the player's party is currently full, it will appear in the first available slot in a box. This Wo-Chien comes at level 75, and has the following moves:

  • Giga Drain
  • Dark Pulse
  • Snarl
  • Pollen Puff

Tera Raid Battle events such as the one with Wo-Chien are constantly happening, with the next one against Chien-Pao already underway. If players can defeat Chien-Pao's Tera Battle Raids in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet one million times before August 17 at 4:59 PDT, another Mystery Gift containing a Shiny Chien-Pao will be soon to follow.
