Since Milcery's base stat total is only 270, and the Raid Milcery will have random Tera types, most players will easily take down these floating fairies. Although this isn't an evolved Pokemon, unprepared trainers are still in danger of losing to what seems to be a straightforward Raid Pokemon. So long as players have the basics for even approaching Raids, having level 100 and fully trained Pokemon, this Raid shouldn't cause much trouble. For even simpler options for running through the Raids as quickly as possible, there are five preferred Pokemon that are more than prepared for Milcery.

5 Arceus

Always Using STAB

A rare choice, Arceus has the obvious benefit of being any type, making it a great, if slightly difficult-to-obtain, option for dealing with the ever-shifting Tera types for Milcery. With the addition of the Stellar Tera type, Arceus' ability to seemingly always have STAB moves has reached a new height.

Equipped with an Expert Belt, a Stellar Terastallized Arceus can cause incredible damage with Tera Blast to any and all Milcery, as the move always deals super effective damage within Raids. However, with Milcery not presenting much of a threat, the setup required for Terastallizing Arceus may be longer than brute-forcing the fight when solo.

4 Iron Hands

Falling in line with other Belly Drum users, Iron Hands offers a powerful, and sometimes literal, punch to take down any opposing Pokemon, in this case, Milcery. While this Paradox Pokemon is exclusive to Violet, players with access to this strange machine have quite the powerhouse on their hands.

Thanks to the Booster Energy item, Iron Hands receives a simple stat boost on top of Belly Drum and STAB electric or fighting moves. With such a movepool including Close Combat, Supercell Slam, Wild Charge, and Drain Punch to more efficiently maintain health, Iron Hands can easily end a Raid just as quickly as it begins, needing only the first turn for using Belly Drum to get as much power as possible.

3 Azumarill

Much like Iron Hands, Azumarill succeeds by using raw power and brute force to take down Milcery. While Azumarill specializes more in dealing STAB water or Fairy-type damage, which could be limiting in certain Milcery Raids, the resistance these two types grant Azumarill may be key in avoiding any potentially devasting damage.

Although Milcery shouldn't be much of an offensive threat for players, the possibility does exist. Thanks to being half fairy type, and with almost all of Milcery's moves being fairy type, Azumarill can basically resist anything Milcery could potentially throw at it. Even beyond that, an Azumarill with Huge Power and Belly Drum can easily end even high-level Raids in one hit - so long as they can achieve the Belly Drum and an offensive move, which never seems to actually happen.

2 Ursaluna

The Power Of Guts

Ursaluna, in the form initially added in Legends: Arceus, hits almost all other Pokemon like a truck or more accurately, a bear. It is the perfect combination of raw power, having access to the right moves, and having a fantastic ability, making it entirely lethal to practically everything it can attack. Although actually having an Ursaluna can be troublesome for players without Legends: Arceus and can be annoying even with access to the Hisui region game, this Pokemon is more than worth any effort to obtain.

Coupling the moves Belly Drum and Facade with the ability Guts, which boosts Pokemon affected by a status condition, while having Ursaluna hold a Flame Orb results in a Pokemon that can do immense damage, even if it isn't super effective. While this strategy won't work with ghost-type Milcery and could be difficult with rock and steel types, overall, Ursaluna should make short work of the Cream Pokemon.

1 Serperior

An underrated Raid pick, Serperior has a shocking amount of power that is perfect for the Tera Raid format in particular. Thanks to a fantastic ability in Contrary, which reverses the effects of stat-affecting moves, and having access to the move Leaf Storm, which now increases the Pokemon's Special Attack stat each time it's used, Serperior easily boosts its own power to the max precisely at the same time it's ready to Terastallize, which only makes it deadlier.

Since Milcery has random Tera types, using Serperior with the Stellar Tera type and the move Tera Blast results in Raids that finish shortly after the player can Terastallize. Even if Milcery resets the Pokemon's stat boosts, using Tera Blast will slowly boost Serperior's damage again, thanks to Contrary.
