Does "Gotta Catch Em' All" apply to Funko Pops? For some Pokemon fans, it absolutely does! There are over sixty figures for fans to collect (and plenty of variations) which makes filling up a Funko Pokedex quite a challenge.

Like all other collectibles, some Pokemon figures are far rarer than others. Whether people have kept them in private collections to increase their value or they didn't sell well in their original run, some of these Funko Pops are incredibly hard to find today.

Those who collect Pokemon Funko Pops have a lot to choose from already, but there have been some awesome, and rather rare, exclusives and limited-run styles that have popped up at conventions, retail stores, and other locations all over the world. To better showcase the rarest Pokemon Funko Pops, as well as their potential prices at the time this article was written, the following list has been updated with more entries.

15 454 Bulbasaur (10-Inch)

Estimated Price: $46

Release Year: 2019

Out of all the extra-large Funko Pops exclusive to Target, the Bulbasaur didn't sell as much as many of the others. Unfortunately, some people just don't have the love for collecting this marvelous Plant type of starter, so it didn't move as quickly off of shelves. Strange, since Bulbasaur is one of the most popular Pokemon of all time!

This has made it more valuable today despite being a part of many people's collections. With collectors less willing to part with it, the scarcity has caused it to increase in value and made it harder to find. While it has the cheapest average price on this list, it's still quite rare.

14 580 Vulpix (Flocked) [SDCC]

Release Year: 2020

Even though San Diego Comic-Con was virtual in 2020, there were still exclusive Funko Pops available for fans to purchase. Vulpix was among them and there was a limited number to purchase. Online con exclusives are generally easier to find on hobbyist websites due to the wider accessibility of online cons, but it's still one of the more difficult ones to find.

Those who didn't get their hands on this fuzzy flocked fiery, fox friend will have a harder time finding them now without paying a much higher price.

13 455 Charmander (10-Inch) [SDCC Debut]

Release Year: 2019

While a version of the super-sized Funko was later available as a Target exclusive, the version that premiered at San Diego Comic-Con is far more valuable. Gamers looking to get their hands on this jumbo Charmander will have to contend with whether exclusivity is important to them because the Target exclusive is available for significantly less.

To get the figure with the special sticker on the box, fans had to show up and purchase it at San Diego Comic-Con in 2019. It's sold for over $100 on auction sites, so collectors might want to keep their hands on this one as its value increases.

12 581 Mewtwo (Flocked) [SDCC]

Release Year: 2020

The ultimate terror of the first generation, Mewtwo is massively popular among Pokemon fans. So when a flocked version was announced as an exclusive to the virtual version of San Diego Comic-Con in 2020 loads of people did all they could to get their hands on one.

While some got it hoping to see it increase in value, many fans simply got it for their love of Mewtwo and never intended to sell it. This has driven up its price on secondary markets and made it a bit harder for fans late to the party to get one for themselves.

11 851 Charizard

Release Year: 2021

Another 10-inch Target exclusive, 10-inch Charizard is a fan favorite. Representing the beloved fire starter's final evolution, Charizard most recently made its debut in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet as a tera raid exclusive, following its starring role in Pokemon Sword & Shield as Champion Leon's ace Pokemon.

With all the support back at Game Freak, it's no wonder this Pokemon got a lot of love. Like most of the 10-inch variants, it's hard to find because of how popular it was, rather than how few were made.

10 455 Charmander (Flocked) [ECCC]

Release Year: 2020

Flocked Charmander was also an exclusive Funko Pop that could only be bought during Emerald City Con 2020.

Due to their popularity, they sold a bit faster than others and fewer collectors are willing to part with them. There's a lot of love behind Charmander, perhaps the most out of all the Gen 1 starters. This has made them harder to acquire and caused the Funko to increase in value significantly.

Flocked Funko Pops tend to be more popular and rare, and Bulbasaur is no exception to the rule. The flocked version was exclusive to Emerald City Con 2020.

With it being a virtual event, the normal lines might have been circumvented for buying exclusive figures, but they still remain quite rare. As only a limited quantity was produced, the value of a flocked Bulbasaur varies quite a bit depending on the seller's knowledge of Pokemon collectibles.

8 965 Cresselia (Jumbo) [Entertainment Expo Shared Exclusive]

Release Year: 2024

This Jumbo Cresselia made an appearance as a Limited Edition for the 2024 Entertainment Expo, and stands as a Shared Exclusive for multiple events. One of the more curious-looking Pokemon Funko Pops on the market, thanks to its strange bobble-head-like shape, Cresselia looks a bit different than some of the more uniform designs available for collectors. The Funko Pop does a decent job capturing the essence of the Generation IV Legendary Pokemon, with a cute lower-half that showcases the unique rings adoring its shape. Its head is a little strange in shape, but it's difficult to translate the Lunar-styled design well into a Funko Pop.

7 540 Eevee (10 Inch)

Release Year: 2019

This jumbo Eevee is a Target exclusive and is currently out of stock at most official retailers. The 10-inch edition of this beloved Gen 1 Pokemon isn't the most difficult to find, but its popularity among Pokemon fans makes it rather difficult to source. For hardcore fans, this Funko Pop is a must-have.

There are several other Eevee Funko Pops out there, including a standard-sized Eevee, as well as all of the Eeveelutions. The Leafeon Funko Pop is particularly prized, though not quite enough to make this list.

6 626 Eevee (Diamond Glitter) [NYCC]

Release Year: 2021

Eevee makes another appearance on this list as a New York City Comic-Con exclusive with an addition to the Diamond Line of Pokemon Funko Pop exclusives. Much like the other Diamond Line creatures, this Eevee looks just like its "normal" counterpart but is speckled all over with a glittering paint job that gives it a glossy, sparkling appearance akin to a shining diamond. There have been a lot of great Eevee Funko Pops dropped into circulation, including an array of Eeveelutions, especially as the Pokemon Company pushes the adorable adaptable creature as one of its most iconic mascots alongside Pikachu.
