A talented Pokemon fan has recently designed regional forms for Nosepass and Probopass. Regional forms were introduced in the seventh generation of Pokemon games, with the first alternative critters being Alolan variants, and they have been fairly popular with fan artists since then.
Nosepass is a Rock-type Pokemon originally introduced in Gen 3. In this generation, it was possible to find this rare monster only in the Granite Cave. Initially, the critter did not have any official evolution, but from Gen 4 onward, it was possible to evolve Nosepass into Probopass by using a Thunder Stone on it or leveling it up in a special magnetic field, which can be found in multiple games of the series. Unlike its pre-evolution, Probopass is a dual-type Rock/Steel Pokemon, and it has access to powerful moves such as Stone Edge, Zap Cannon, and Earth Power.
Pokemon Fan Creates LEGO Version of Miraidon
One Pokemon Scarlet and Violet fan shares their homemade creation of a LEGO Miraidon, Violet version's box legendary Pokemon.
Now, a Pokemon fan artist called FallinDevast has devised creative new regional evolutions for Nosepass and Probopass. Nosepass became Nopass, looking like a gray stone wall with a huge yellow nose and closed eyes. Probopass, on the other hand, became Problypass, which looked like a castle’s gate, complete with a tower for a helmet, teeth for the gate, and the same yellow nose. While FallinDevast did not say much about these new variants, others chimed in and suggested that these forms were perfect as Galarian variants or could work well with any European-based region due to their shape. Overall, FallinDevast’s art was greatly praised by the Pokemon community, as the fan artist gained over 10,000 upvotes.
Pokemon Fan's Nosepass and Probopass Regional Forms
It’s not very common to see alternative takes on Nosepass and Probopass, but when these artworks are shared with the community, they’re generally very interesting. For example, last year, a fan created a female version of Probopass, which looked like a steel kettle with a big red nose, hair, earrings, and a hat.
Other interesting artworks shared with the community were Viking-inspired variants of Nosepass and Probopass, created by a fan in 2023. In these forms, the critter would look like a stalagmite in its first evolution, and the head of a Viking warrior in the second one.
Yet another fan created a human form for Nosepass, which depicted the monster as a woman in a wheelchair, looking fairly original. It’s always nice to see Pokemon fans getting creative, so hopefully, others will continue to share their work with the community and come up with even more new forms for Nosepass and Probopass.
