A talented Pokémon fan has recently designed nine new evolutions for Eevee, surprising the community with the quality of their work. Eevee was originally introduced in the first generation of Pokémon, and this fan did an excellent job of imagining unique evolutions for the cute critter.
Eevee is arguably among the most popular Pokémon ever created, especially due to its cute appearance and for being the Pokémon with the most official evolutions in the whole series. Unlike most of the other creatures in the franchise, Eevee is an evolutionary anomaly, as it can become eight different Pokémon in different situations, which makes it rather unique. At the moment, Eevee can evolve into Flareon, Vaporeon, Jolteon, Umbreon, Espeon, Glaceon, Leafeon, and Sylveon, but it has not received any new evolutions in recent generations.
Pokemon Fan Designs Diglett Ability Forms
A talented Pokemon fan designs new ability forms for Diglett, a popular Ground-type creature that originally appeared in the first generation.
Now, a Pokémon fan artist called Dread-Dragoona devised a total of nine alternative Eeveelutions, coming up with several cute designs. The fan shared their artwork on r/Pokemon, which contained the Ghost-type Whispeon, the Dragon-type Drakeon, the Bug-type Elytreon, the Steel-type Titaneon, the Ground-type Terreon, the Flying-type Aereon, the Poison-type Poiseon, the Rock-type Petreon, and the Fighter-type Ruffeon. Overall, these new evolutions for the popular Normal-type Eevee looked great, and pretty distinct from each other due to their varied colors and inspirations.
Pokémon Fan Devises Multiple New Evolutions for Eevee
Dread-Dragoona’s collection of Eeveelutions has several designs that stand out, such as Drakeon and Terreon, which seem to be inspired by dragons and raccoons, respectively. Another good design was Petreon’s, which resembled some sort of hyena with a skull mask. In the post’s comments, fans praised Dread-Dragoona’s fan art, especially due to how these designs were simple yet elegant, more in line with the official artwork of the franchise rather than the more highly detailed pieces often found in fan art.
While most Pokémon fans devise single-type Eeveelutions, some others have been coming up with dual-type combinations recently. For instance, a few weeks ago, one fan designed a Ghost/Fairy-type Eeveelution, which looked like a fluffy, adorable ghost.
In another excellent artwork, a fan imagined an Electric/Dragon-type Eeveelution called Raijeon. This design was pretty unique due to giving the new creature some dragon-inspired characteristics such as horns, while still clearly being an electric monster. Due to Eevee’s popularity, the community will likely continue to devise unofficial Eeveelutions in the future, and it’s even possible that Nintendo will eventually give it more official evolutions in upcoming games.
