Shiny Pokemon from Pokemon Legends: Z-A have been selling online for up to hundreds of dollars. Although some have found hunting Shiny Pokemon in Pokemon Legends: Z-A to be easier than in prior generations, largely due to a combination of inherent game mechanics and some useful glitches, it seems some are still willing to shell out big bucks to get a specific Shiny.
While simply completing a Pokedex can be difficult due to the large number of Pokemon that have to be caught and/or traded, some gamers go out of their way to find as many Shinies as possible. While these uniquely colored Pokemon don't offer any special benefits in battles, they're cool to look at, and are something most players take pride in having.

Pokemon Legends: Z-A Shinies are Selling for Hundreds of Dollars
Listings have appeared on retail site eBay for Shiny Pokemon in Pokemon Legends: Z-A, and the sellers are asking for up to hundreds of dollars for them. While listings vary, sellers are offering everything from individual Shinies to those with perfect IVs and more. Prices range wildly depending on the rarity and number of Pokemon included, dropping as low as a few dollars for a single low-rarity Shiny to several hundred for trained collections of them. While listing Pokemon for crazy prices doesn't necessarily mean that they'll sell, eBay's history search indicates that several high-price listings have sold at least once.
While these listings and sales certainly indicate that there's plenty of interest in Shiny Pokemon in Pokemon Legends: Z-A, there are a few caveats players should take into consideration. Some of the Pokemon that are listed on eBay may not be authentic, for example. Modification tools and game hacking can be utilized to effectively create perfect Pokemon, with it being enough of a problem that the developer has pursued legal action against some modded Pokemon sellers. Even in the case that a Pokemon purchased in this manner is legitimate, it can't be transferred back to older games, so players may want to keep that in mind.
While far from every Pokemon player will want to spend large sums of money on a Shiny Pokemon, it's clear that the game is performing well. Pokemon Legends: Z-A outsold Pokemon Legends: Arceus in its debut week in Japan, and moved a whopping 5.8 million copies worldwide in that same period of time. Thankfully, there are plenty of Pokemon Legends: Z-A Shiny strategies that can help players to catch the unique creatures they're looking for without having to break the bank.
