Summary

  • The next trailer for Pokemon Legends: Z-A might release before Pokemon Day 2025, per a known leaker.
  • Pokemon Legends: Z-A leaks have teased the starter trio for the game.
  • Very little official information on Legends: Z-A has been shared so far.

A well-known leaker has suggested that the next trailer for Game Freak's upcoming Pokemon Legends: Z-A game could be released before Pokemon Day in February 2025. Pokemon Legends: Z-A was first announced on this year's Pokemon Day, making it one of the biggest announcements that Game Freak made in 2024. Game Freak and Nintendo have been tight-lipped on more information regarding Pokemon Legends: Z-A, but that could possibly change soon.

Pokemon Legends: Z-A is the successor to 2022's Pokemon Legends: Arceus, which offered a brand-new take on the classic Pokemon-catching gameplay. Unlike Arceus, which took place in a past version of the Sinnoh region, Pokemon Legends: Z-A is set in the Kalos region, the setting of Pokemon X and Y. With Lumiose City being touted as the major location of the upcoming Z-A, there have been a lot of leaks and rumors about the game revolving around Generation 6, such as its potential starter Pokemon roster being the trio of Chespin, Froakie, and Fennekin. The same major leaker has hinted at how Legends: Z-A's next trailer will be released before Pokemon Day 2025.

The Pokemon Legends: Z-A starters will be "something different than what most fans expect, according to a popular Pokemon leaker.

This information was shared by CentroLeaks on Twitter, passing along two leaks from Riddler Khu. One leak was regarding how there would be a shiny Rayquaza raid for December, with this Rayquaza, while apparently being catchable, will be limited to one per save. Neither Khu nor CentroLeaks specified if this raid would be for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet or Pokemon GO. The second piece of information was that the next Pokemon Legends: Z-A trailer would be revealed before Pokemon Day 2025, which takes place every February 27.

Pokemon Legends: Z-A's Next Trailer will be Released Before Pokemon Day (February 27, 2025)

Previously, Riddler Khu stated how fans should be expecting more Pokemon Legends: Z-A news "soon", so it appears that a slightly more narrow update window has been given, as a trailer being released between November and February is a rather broad claim. However, Riddler Khu is an infamous person in the community for providing leaks based on a series of riddles, with some of his claims being inaccurate, something that CentroLeaks acknowledges too.

Game Freak's massive data breach from earlier in the month has also leaked some aspects of the upcoming game's roster. Supposedly, there will be new Mega Evolutions in Pokemon Legends: Z-A, specifically for the Legendary Pokemon Zygarde and Mythical Pokemon Zeraora. The Game Freak Tera Leak also indicated that Stunfisk would also be a part of Legends: Z-A's roster. For the time being, fans should take all of these leaks with a grain of salt until more official information is revealed.
