Despite the early claims regarding its graphics and possibly empty world, Pokemon Legends: Arceus went on to become one of the most successful and unique games in the mainline series by a huge margin, to the point that many fans have been calling for a sequel. A Pokemon Legends: Arceus sequel could have plenty of options for its setting, new pocket monsters, and characters, especially if Game Freak decides to go the more obvious route and eventually make one for each existing region. Although there are some regions that would make sense to see first after Sinnoh and others that would just make fans happier given their popularity, there are some Pokemon that would make a Pokemon Legends Kalos game equally great.

There would be many options for a Pokemon Legends Kalos' starters and even its Legendary or Mythical mascot, and there would be several great opportunities for regular critters to get regional forms or even new evolutions. Ursaluna from Pokemon Legends: Arceus was arguably one of the most well-received mons from the Hisuian Pokedex, and with Kalos, Game Freak could draw from several existing species to make something truly unique and special.

Makuhita and Hariyama

These Gen 3 Fighting-type Pokemon have been quite prominent recently due to Hariyama's initial role in Pokemon VGC for Gen 9 games before other regulations added Paradox critters, including Hariyama's own future version called Iron Hands. With this Electric/Fighting Pokemon still enjoying its time in the limelight, it's a good time to highlight Hariyama's potential when it comes to regional forms or evolutions, and a Kalos game could be the ideal place to start thanks to the critter's competition with Hawlucha. In fact, a Pokemon Legends Kalos game could make a different form or evolution for Hariyama that doesn't fare as well against Hawlucha, eventually prompting it to evolve differently in the future.

Durant and Heatmor

Gen 5 introduced an incredible number of new critters, and one of the most interesting pairs is made of Durant and Heatmor. These mons are a Steel/Bug-type ant and a Fire-type ant eater, respectively, and their Pokedex entries talk about how fierce their conflict is. With this gimmick already established, regional forms or evolutions for both could be an interesting way for a Pokemon Legends: Arceus sequel to tap into the series' massive backlog of uncharted stories. It could even be fun to see a regional Durant overpower Heatmor in terms of type, only for the tables to turn in the series' modern time.

Roggenrola

Another interesting Pokedex entry is that of Roggenrola, a small Rock-type Pokemon, whose flavor text in Pokemon Sun and Moon states that it compares itself with Geodude and Carbink to determine who has the hardest body. With Carbink being a Gen 6 Pokemon, a Pokemon Legends Kalos game could include a regional form for Roggenrola that's Rock/Steel to try and overpower Carbink due to their 4x weakness to Steel. Alternatively, it could be the first-ever Normal/Rock-type critter, one of the currently unused type combos in Pokemon games.

Spidops

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's Spidops is arguably one of the least powerful creatures in Paldea, despite it having access to an interesting signature move and enjoying a rather unique design. With Spidops having a strange design that blends features from Bug as a type and technological aspects of the modern world, a regional form or evolution for this Pokemon in a Kalos game would fit quite nicely given the region's advanced scientific progress. A regional form for Spidops would have plenty of opportunities to go anywhere with the base design and type, and it would make a lot of sense given Kalos and Paldea's geographical vicinity.
