Pokemon GO has announced the Young and Wise event that will start on December 10, featuring one of the Genesect variants. On December 3, Pokemon GO kicks off the Dual Destiny Season, and new content awaits to keep the community even more engaged with the augmented reality game.

One of the season's biggest features is Necrozma's return to Pokemon GO in an event featuring its fusions with Solgaleo and Lunala. For players who want new challenges in Shadow Raids, the season will have battles against Shadow Regice, Regirock, and Registeel. Also making a comeback in Pokemon GO is Hoopa, after its debut in 2021 and its last appearance in 2022. Now, with the announcement of yet another event, trainers will see one more pocket monster that hasn't appeared in Niantic's game for some time.

Pokemon GO has revealed the new Young and Wise event with Genesect Chill Drive, one of the alternative forms of the Gen 5 monster, as the boss of the 5-star raids. The event will start on Tuesday, December 10, at 10 am and end on Saturday, December 14, at 8 pm local time. One of the event's highlights, the Mythical Pokemon will be available until December 12 at 10 am. At the same time, Mega Raids featuring Mega Banette will end, and Mega Raids featuring Mega Latios will start. The event will also have one-star raids with Jangmo-o and four other critters, and three-star raids with Drampa and three other pocket monsters.

During the Young and Wise event, Pokemon GO players will earn double XP by hatching eggs and winning raid battles. By hatching 2 km eggs, they will be able to get Togepi, Tyrogue, Smoochum, Bonsly, Happiny, and Munchlax. In addition to expanding their Pokedex with some of the popular baby Pokemon, trainers will have new Field Research tasks rewarding with event-themed critter encounters, Collection Challenges to grab more XP and extra Pokemon encounters, and fresh Showcases available at PokeStops.

The Dual Destiny Season promises exciting long-term news, such as the Pokemon GO Tour: Unova announced for 2025, and the January and February Community Days, whose dates have already been confirmed. While these events don't arrive until next year, December will offer engaging activities for Pokemon GO players, such as the debut of Sinistea and Polteageist in the Just My Cup of Tea event. Also to be added to Pokemon GO is Gigantamax Lapras, the highlight of the upcoming Max Battle Day, which will take place in the next few days.
