What are Space-Time Anomalies in Pokémon GO?

Space-Time Anomalies are a type of Spawning Event in Pokémon GO, which are related to either the apparition of Palkia and Dialga in specialized Raids, or certain events related to Hisuian Pokémon. They were introduced during the Pokémon GO Tour: Sinnoh (back in February 2024), and they have been part of the game's event mechanics ever since.

During Space-Time Anomalies, the sky turns purple, and Pokémon from different time periods, in particular Hisuian Variants (like Hisuian Growlithe, Hisuian Sneasel, and Hisuian Qwilfish) will appear in the wild and around Gyms, and Poke Stops buffed with Lure Modules.

In past events, these Space-Time Anomalies also came accompanied with Raids featuring Palkia and Dialga in their Origin Formes. Currently, there's no confirmed information on when these featured Raids will come back to Pokémon GO, so players need to regularly check the Pokémon GO section, as the information will be updated as soon as official information is released.

Here are some of the Pokémon that can be caught during Space-Time anomalies in Pokemon GO:

  • Wyrdeer (Raids only)
  • Hisuian Avalugg (Raids & Field Task Rewards)
  • Hisuian Voltorb
  • Hisuian Growlithe
  • Kleavor (Raids only)
  • Hisuian Qwilfish
  • Hisuian Zorua
  • White-Stripped Basculin
  • Hisuian Lilligant (Raids only)

Make sure to bring enough Lucky Eggs and Star Pieces to get even juicier rewards, as these events often come accompanied by powerful bonuses like extra Stardust and XP.
