Players that are interested in earning high-IV encounters with a variety of Dragon- and Fairy-type Pokemon in Pokemon GO may be pleased by the rewards that are available through the Twinkling Fantasy Field Research. Indeed, every one of these tasks awards such an encounter, and the majority of them can be completed extremely quickly. The exceptions to that statement are the tasks that instruct players to catch 30 Pokemon and to win three raids, and fans that do not care much for Goomy may want to simply abandon them.

To note, this set of Field Research is certainly not the only aspect of Pokemon GO's Twinkling Fantasy event, as there is also an event-exclusive Collection Challenge. That challenge centers around catching 10 specific Pokemon, four of which can be encountered through the event's Field Research tasks. That said, all the Pokemon featured in the Twinkling Fantasy Collection Challenge will be appearing in the wild more frequently for the duration of the event, which means that players need not interact with the event-exclusive Field Research at all if that is their preference.

Additionally, several bonuses will be in effect during the event, which incentivize players to make Nice, Great, and Excellent Throws in PoGO. Specifically, all trainers will receive double XP and Candy when they catch Pokemon with those types of throws, while trainers that are Level 31 and above will also have an increased chance to earn Candy XL from them.

Finally, both Jigglypuff and Dratini have a chance to photobomb players that take snapshots during the Twinkling Fantasy event. This photobombing can occur up to two times every day, and Pokemon GO fans that want to make some special pictures should make sure to dust off their Cameras.
