The Trubbish Spotlight Hour event in Pokemon GO will take place on April 23, 2024, and run between 6 PM and 7 PM local time. During this one-hour time limit, there will be a significant increase in the number of wild Trubbish that Trainers encounter during their adventures. With this increased number of Trubbish set to appear in the wild, this is a decent opportunity to capture one for your Pokedex if you need it, hunt for some solid IVs, make use of the event bonus, or even encounter a shiny Trubbish if you are lucky.
When it comes to the Trubbish Spotlight Hour bonus, 2x catch XP has been confirmed, enabling trainers to double the experience gained upon the capture of not just wild Trubbish but any wild Pokemon caught within the one-hour Spotlight Hour event duration.
