The Research Breakthrough highlights a monthly Pokemon, obtainable by completing daily tasks for stamps. Once Pokemon GO players accumulate seven stamps, a Research Breakthrough activates, allowing a featured encounter. The featured Pokemon changes monthly, with possible options over multiple months. Niantic has selected a few monsters as new Research Breakthrough encounters for the new Timeless Travels season. These monsters are the ones that players can encounter during the Timeless Travels season runtime. There is also a possibility of encountering some of these monsters’ Shiny variants.

During the Timeless Travels Season, trainers can buy a monthly ticketed experience with exclusive bonuses and Timed Research quests. The ticketed experience features several Hisui region monsters and Pokemon GO items like Incubators. In addition, players can regularly participate in mini-events like Community Day, Spotlight Hour, Raid Day, and more.
The Pokemon GO Timeless Travels season also offers numerous Shadow Raids opportunities. One-star and three-star Shadow Raids are available daily, and five-star Shadow Raids occur on weekends unless any significant changes occur.
