Pokemon GO: Get Shiny Smeargle By Taking Snapshots
Pokemon GO Festival of Colors 2025 participants can encounter a Shiny Smeargle. But there is no guaranteed Shiny encounter, you have to match the monster’s Shiny odds. Taking a snapshot during the event results in Smeargle photobombing and spawning nearby. While there is a limited number of times that Smeargle appears, you can try each day of the event to spawn several Smeargle and match its Shiny odds.
Steps To Take Snapshots And Get Shiny Smeargle
- Open your Pokemon GO storage and select a Pokemon to photograph.
- Tap the Pokemon, then tap the camera icon to enter snapshot mode.
- Take multiple photos, one at a time. If Smeargle appears, it will photobomb the first picture of the session. If not, exit the camera and try again.
- Review your photos. If Smeargle photobombed, you’ll see it in one of the pictures. A quick flash might indicate its appearance.
- If Smeargle appears in a photo, close the camera mode.
