Pokemon GO has announced the debut of shiny Cutiefly in the new event Dazzling Dream. After a busy year adding new Pokemon and gameplay features, Pokemon GO entered 2024 with even more content for players to enjoy in January.
Pokemon GO celebrated the start of the new year with a special event and will have Rowlet for January's Community Day, with Porygon for January's Community Day Classic. Niantic added Dusk Form Lycanroc and will add Hisuian Typhlosion on the upcoming Raid Day, with Pokemon GO finally having all Sinnoh starters in their Hisui variants. But for players who want to expand their records with more Fairy-type Pokemon, Pokemon GO has good news with the announcement of a new event featuring this Pokemon type and the debut of a new shiny Pokemon.
Niantic has announced the debut of shiny Cutiefly in Pokemon GO during the Dazzling Dream event, which starts on January 13 at 10 am and ends on January 16 at 8 pm local time. During this period, trainers will encounter the pre-evolution Ribombee in the wild, as well as Clefairy, Jigglypuff, Marill, Snubbull, Cottonee, Spritzee, Swirlix, Dedenne, Morelull, and Togetic. The latter will attract players' attention, since catching Togetic in Pokemon GO isn't easy because it's a rare spawn. The event will also see Flabebe appearances, with trainers in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa finding red Flabebe, players in the Asia-Pacific region finding the blue one, and yellow Flabebe appearing for trainers in the Americas. Regardless of where they are, Pokemon GO trainers will have the chance to see white and orange Flabebe, two rare variants of the Gen 6 Pokemon.
