The Pokemon GO Seel Spotlight Hour event runs from Tuesday, December 12, at 6 PM to Tuesday, December 12, at 7 PM Local Time. The event offers a boost in the Seel spawn rate from 6 PM to 7 PM. There is also a special bonus of 2× Transfer Candy for participating in the Spotlight Hour.
Only the wild spawn increases during the event, and you also have a chance to encounter Shiny Seel during the timeframe. The increased spawn rate for Seel may help you match its Shiny spawn odd. One must note that encountering a Shiny Pokemon is linked to the Standard variant’s wild spawn rate.
