After a bit of a hiatus from Battle Raids, Reshiram is back this month to terrorize the skies once again with its draconic might in Pokemon GO. The mobile AR game is featuring the popular tier 5 Battle Raid boss once again for a few weeks during early December.
During Reshiram’s stay this month, many Pokemon GO trainers may want to take the opportunity to battle and catch some additional copies of the Legendary. Its Dragon/Flying-type pairing makes it a very popular choice in the PoGO metagame time and time again.
Players should have from Wednesday, December 1, 2021, to Thursday, December 16, 2021 to battle against this particular Raid Boss. Reshiram is a Dragon- and Flying-type, which means that its primary weaknesses are going to be Dragon-, Ground-, and Rock-. A few of the best Reshiram counters have been popular choices for previous Raid Bosses, so hopefully players already have a fairly powerful team assembled. If not, be sure to take advantage of Elite TMs and lots of Candy and Stardust to power up a strong roster before entering this Legendary Raid Battle.
Best Reshiram Counters (December 2021)
- Dialga - Dragon Breath/Draco Meteor
- Rayquaza - Dragon Tail/Outrage
- Zekrom - Dragon Breath/Outrage
- Rampardos - Smack Down/Rock Slide
- Haxorus - Dragon Tail/Dragon Claw
- Palkia - Dragon Tail/Draco Meteor
- Salamence - Dragon Tail/Outrage
- Dragonite - Dragon Tail/Dragon Claw
- Garchomp - Dragon Tail/Outrage
That should be just about everything players need to know for this particular fight. As always, keep in mind that trainers don’t need the exact perfect list of counters in order to successfully take down the Legendary. Stick to the right counter-types (Dragon-, Ground-, and Rock-), enter the Battle Raid with a big enough group, and that should be enough in most cases.
The community should learn much more about exact details throughout the early days of the Season of Heritage. Be sure to check back in the near future for more Pokemon GO strategy guides, news, and updates. Until then, good luck out there, trainers!
