On the game's subreddit they report that they were parked in a church while battling a Gengar in a Raid. A man parked near the Pokemon GO player and said he didn't recognize them. He then warned that he was armed and threatened to shoot if the player didn't leave the property. Even though they were scared, the player realized the man wasn't a security guard or officer. They said they were playing Pokemon GO, but the man said he didn't care. In order not to aggravate the situation, the player left the parking lot, but the police later found the man responsible for the threat.
