Pokemon GO's latest major event, the Lunar New Year, is officially underway and players can now start taking advantage of the in-game bonuses, special spawns, and discount boxes in the Shop. There's a lot to keep track of, but we'll break things down so that interested trainers can find all the necessary details before heading out into the adventure.

This event wraps up on February 13 and it seems very likely that Niantic will transition right into a smaller Valentine's Day event (if previous years are a reliable indication).
