The Pokemon GO Lunar New Year: Dragons Unleashed Timed Research quest comprises two steps with multiple tasks. While each task offers a dedicated reward, completing all the steps also offers players valuable rewards. The tasks include powering, catching, and evolving multiple Dragon-type Pokemon; there are also tasks like spinning numerous PokeStops or Gyms and more. Those who complete both steps can earn a guaranteed encounter with Drampa and different in-game items.

Pokemon GO trainers can access the Lunar New Year: Dragons Unleashed Timed Research quest at the cost of US $2.00 or an equal price in their local currency. One must note that since it is a Timed Research quest, there is an expiration date for the tasks and rewards. Aim to complete the tasks and claim rewards before the event ends on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at 8 PM Local Time.
The Lunar New Year Dragons Unleashed event also offers multiple bonuses, including increased probability of making Lucky Friends and getting Lucky monsters in trades; catching monsters by making Nice Throws, Great Throws, and Excellent Throws rewards more Candy and Pokemon GO players above level 31 get a boosted chance to receive Candy XL for doing the same.
