The Community Day for June in Pokemon GO is currently active for all players from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM in players' local times. This time, the Community Day event is focused on Gible, a dual Dragon and Ground-type Pokemon.
Gible can be evolved into Gabite in Pokemon GO by feeding it 25 Gible candies. Gabite can then evolve into the powerful pseudo-legendary Pokemon Garchomp after giving it 100 more Gible candies. Because of Garchomp's power, this event is the perfect time to get enough Gible and Gible candies to obtain at least one.
While the Community Day event is mostly focused on the increased spawn rates for Gible, there is another aspect to the event that players can optionally undertake. This would be the Just a Nibble event ticket that players can purchase from the in-game store for $0.99. By purchasing it, players can participate in special research tasks for the event that can earn them valuable items and encounters.
This series of tasks has a total of four steps with three tasks in each of the steps. In addition to this, the fourth and final step's tasks just consist of claiming more rewards, only requiring players to actually complete three steps.
The first step and its tasks are the easiest to complete. Doing so will earn players 2,000 Stardust, a Gible encounter, and an incense. The tasks players must complete for it are:
Power up Pokemon ten times - Fifteen Pokeballs
Catch fifteen Gible - Gible encounter
Make five Nice Throws - 20 Gible candies
Step two is still on the relatively easy side to complete with the increased spawn rates of Gible helping with the individual tasks. Completing step two in its entirety will earn players 1,500 XP, another Gible encounter, and another incense. Players must complete:
Catch fifteen Gible - 30 Gible candies
Transfer ten Pokemon - Gabite encounter
Evolve three Gible - Ten Pinap Berries
The last step that requires any work is step three, but some of these tasks may take players time even with the Gible spawn rates. Getting everything done for this step, however, will give players 2,500 XP, a Rocket Radar, and fifteen Ultra Balls. The challenges that need to be faced though are:
Make three Great Curveball Throws - 50 Gible candies
Evolve one Gabite - A Lucky Egg
Transfer ten Pokemon - Fifteen Great Balls
As previously stated, the fourth step only requires players to claim the offered rewards. These rewards are 3,500 XP, 3,000 Stardust, two Silver Pinap Berries, another Gible encounter, a Garchomp encounter, and two Rare Candies.
Pokemon GO is available on Android and iOS.
