Some Pokemon GO fans are reportedly receiving another free upgrade to their in-game item storage, alongside the inventory boost rolled out last week. The monster-catching mobile game recently made a huge change to its in-game leveling system, raising the level cap significantly and allowing players to climb as high as Level 80. The new levels came with a plethora of Pokemon GO rewards, ranging from a wealth of free items to increased inventory space to hold Poke Balls, Berries, and more. Now, fans are reportedly receiving even more free upgrades.

Pokemon GO has given fans plenty to be excited about throughout recent weeks, between major live events and special in-game additions. Niantic confirmed that one of the game's November events will add the Shiny variant of a fan-favorite Pokemon to the game, with Morpeko receiving its Shiny version later this month. The developer also pushed some big upgrades for Pokemon GO's item storage system, with level-up rewards allowing players to expand their inventory limit by up to 400 slots. A new report suggests that some players' inventories are about to grow even bigger.

Pokemon GO Fans Getting Another Item Storage Upgrade

Several Pokemon GO players in New Zealand are reporting a brand-new box hitting the in-game shop, granting players a free expansion to their item storage. The box grants four of the standard item storage increases to those who claim the reward, with players receiving 200 more slots within their Pokemon GO inventory. The storage expansion is believed to be in addition to the level-up storage boosts that went live last week, with the reward believed to go live after 8 AM local time for Pokemon GO players. Niantic and The Pokemon Company have not made an official statement about the new round of storage boosts.

Adding more storage to Pokemon GO fans' inventories will give players a better chance to stock up on items for big events like Community Days and Raid Days. Pokemon GO held its newest "Wild Area" event this weekend in Nagasaki, Japan, featuring boosted spawn rates for several different Dark and Fairy-type Pokemon. Niantic will also host a global version of the event for players around the world through the app next weekend, introducing Gigantamax Grimmsnarl to the game for the first time.
