Pokemon GO has announced three global events for the upcoming GO Fest 2025, which will debut the Gigantamax versions of Rillaboom, Cinderace, and Inteleon. Pokemon GO will soon wrap up its Might and Mastery season, which centered around Fighting Pokemon and Max Battles.
The highly anticipated Pokemon GO Fest 2025 is only days away as Osaka prepares for the first in-person event in late May. Two other locations, Jersey City and Paris, will greet the festivities in June. A global GO Fest will also be held on June 28, so players around the world won't miss out on catching tons of pocket monsters. Now, Pokemon GO has confirmed yet another three major global events as part of GO Fest, featuring several bonuses, wild encounters, and Max Debuts.

Pokemon GO has announced the events Serene Retreat, Instrumental Wonders, and Phantom Ruins for GO Fest 2025. These events will debut Gigantamax Battles for Rillaboom, Cinderace, and Inteleon, respectively. Serene Retreat will begin on May 30 and last until June 3, and some Pokemon like Hatenna, Furfrou, and Chansey will spawn more frequently in the wild. Gigantamax Rillaboom Raids will run from May 31 at 6:00 AM to June 1 at 9:00 PM. Secondly, Instrumental Wonders will run from June 7 to June 11, featuring wild encounters with Ferroseed, Galarian Stunfisk, Tadbulb, and more. Gigantamax Cinderace Battles will spawn from June 7 at 6:00 AM to June 8 at 9:00 PM. Finally, Phantom Ruins is scheduled for June 14 to June 18, and players can encounter Phantump, Gothita, Drilbur, and other monsters more often. Gigantamax Inteleon Raids will be held from June 14 at 6:00 AM to June 15 at 9:00 PM. All events will offer multiple bonuses, such as additional XP, increased Max particles from Power Spots, and increased shiny encounters.

To obtain Gigantamax Rillaboom, Gigantamax Cinderace, and Gigantamax Inteleon, players will have to participate in six-star Max Battles of up to 40 Trainers. Their announcement comes as a surprise to fans, as these Gigantamax Pokemon were not teased in previous trailers for GO Fest 2025 or the Might and Mastery season. Aside from the debut of the Gigantamax Galar starters, the events will also feature collection challenges and Raids. It is worth noting that another exciting Max debut is happening soon as well, since Pokemon GO is adding Gigantamax Machamp on May 25.
GO Fest is one of the biggest and most popular events in Pokemon GO. This year's edition is debuting the Crowned forms of Zacian and Zamazenta, and this Legendary duo will be able to fight in Max Battles. Moreover, players can purchase a GO Fest ticket for a guaranteed encounter with the Mythical monster Volcanion.
