The big weekend is here and trainers around the globe can now finally enjoy Pokemon GO's anniversary event. With over 1 million GO Fest 2020 tickets sold, the activities are sure to make the game's player base incredibly active for the next 48 hours. As players race around completing their ticketed special research, they around going to be some very exciting habitat rotations happening that will bring unique spawn changes on an hourly basis.
The GO Fest Day 1 habitat schedule was already revealed, but up until now we only knew what the theme would be, not which Pokemon would actually be more likely to appear during those windows. As of this morning there's a lot more information and now trainers can see exactly what Pokemon GO has in store for them with each habitat or biome rotation...
Each habitat has a unique theme and will likely help players complete different phases of the GO Fest 2020 Special Research. There will be a rotation each hour, but don't worry, the habitats will loop back around two more times throughout the day if a player happens to miss it during its first appearance. Niantic has already pointed out that players should make sure they save some of their Gift activities (sending and receiving) for when the Friendship habitat appears, so keep that in mind.

As trainers continue working through this amazing anniversary event, they may want to keep hunting down the best Unova Pokemon in the game if improving their Battle Raid rosters and completing their Pokedex is their primary goal. Be sure to check back in the near future for more Pokemon GO strategy guides, news, and updates. Until then, good luck out there, trainers!
