The Pokemon GO Fashion Week 2023 event offers a paid Timed research quest named Runway Stars. Players can access this Timed Research for $2 or the equivalent cost in one's local currency. The Runway Stars Timed Research quest comprises just One Step with multiple tasks. These tasks range from catching numerous monsters to using Berries on Pokemon and taking Snapshots; completing the tasks will reward encounters with multiple costumed Pokemon with a possibility of being Shiny.

The Fashion Week 2023 event provides trainers with several bonuses. Avatar items are available at a discounted rate. There's a 2× Candy boost for catching Pokemon, and for those at level 31 and above, there's an increased chance of receiving Pokemon GO Candy XL with each successful catch.

Players can join 1-star to Mega raids, featuring different costumed Pokemon in 1-star and 3-star raids, Virizion and Cobalion in 5-star raids, and Mega Garchomp and Mega Kangaskhan in Mega raids. All these raid bosses have Shiny variants available to encounter and catch. The goal is to defeat them and boost the odds of encountering their Shiny forms in Pokemon GO.
