Pokemon GO's Fantastical Forest & Whimsical Woods…

The Enchanted Hollow event in Pokemon GO introduces two new Pokemon into the mobile game. The first is Tarountula, the Bug-type String Ball Pokemon. And the second is its evolution, Spidops, the Trap Pokemon.

You'll be able to find Tarountula as a wild spawn (especially if you place down a Mossy Lure Module), but Spidops will not appear. To evolve Tarountula into Spidops, you just need to feed it 25 Candy.

How to Complete 'Fantastical Forest' Collection Challenge in Pokemon GO

For the first collection challenge, Fantastical Forest, Pokemon GO players will need to catch a Petilil, Shelmet, Paras, and Skwovet. While the event lasts, you should be able to find all four of these Pokemon as increased wild spawn encounters. And yes, all of them have a chance of being Shiny.

Thankfully, this challenge doesn't require any evolutions, so it should be easy to complete. Keep in mind that Petilil, Shelmet, and Paras are potential reward encounters for the 'Catch 10/15 Pokemon' Field Research tasks.

The following Pokemon will show up even more if you use a Mossy Lure on a Poke Stop: Paras, Stantler, Cottonee, Petilil, Karrablast, Shelmet, Tarountula.

For the second collection challenge, Whimsical Woods, Pokemon GO players will need to catch a Cottonee, Karrablast, Morelull, and Stantler. Like the previous batch, these are also going to spawn more during this event.

It's also worth pointing out that Cottonee and Karrablast are possible rewards for completing the 'Catch 10 Pokemon' Field Research task. Stantler is also a possible reward for the 'Catch 15 Pokemon' task.

Both collection challenges for the Enchanted Hollow event will grant players 3000 XP and an encounter with Tarountula, giving you more chances to acquire Tarountula Candy to get closer to evolution.
