A Pokemon GO player discovered a large maze on their in-game map while stopped in traffic on a highway. With the help of the Pokemon GO community, the player and many others were able to discover the exact location of the maze and its purpose in real life.

As a result, players often explore their surroundings and local area in order to find rare shiny Pokemon and obtain useful items in Pokemon GO. In the process, Pokemon GO players also make discoveries of their own and share them with the online community.
While stopped in traffic and playing Pokemon GO, Reddit user Remarkable_Cup6298 was intrigued by a corn maze near the I-94 highway in Wisconsin, which was mapped out in its entirety within the game. The user shared a screenshot of the maze on Reddit, and the Pokemon GO community conducted some sleuthing and discovered a full top-down image of the maze, which reads "Know the Signs" and "Heart Disease." This maze may be found in Dunn County, Wisconsin as a symbol of heart disease awareness and prevention, with the inside of the maze being shaped like a heart with its arteries. The center of the maze also has a smaller heart with a large open area that has entrances to other pathways.

Remarkable_Cup6298's discovery piqued the curiosity of many Pokemon GO fans on Reddit, and some players in the state want to visit the location as well. For those visiting, the maze could be a great location for capturing Pokemon with fellow Pokemon GO players, depending on active events and event bonuses. For example, players are able to gather en masse during Pokemon GO Fest 2024 to catch new Pokemon and complete activities together.
Pokemon GO promotes exploration in real-world locations, and players will surely be encouraged to do so during the game's new Ultra Unlock events. The Ultra Unlock: Better Together recently introduced Tandemaus and its evolution, Maushold, into the game. Those lucky enough to evolve Tandemaus into Maushold may acquire its rare Family of Three form. On July 25, Pokemon GO's Ultra Unlock: Strength of Steel event will mark the debut of shiny Togedemaru. Similar to Community Day, Strength of Steel's event bonuses will boost overall XP gains and Candy drops as well.
