Pokemon GO - All August Community Day Candidates
There are 5 different Pokemon GO August Community Day Candidates for voting. The candidates are of distinct typing and possess different moves. All the candidates get a featured attack upon evolving them during the August Community Day, but only one Pokemon is selected. Once voting ends, the winner will be announced soon after, with event bonuses and details shared later.
- Frillish (Shiny Available): Evolving it results in a Jellicent with the Charged Attack Poltergeist.
- Wimpod (Shiny Available): Evolving it results in a Golisopod with the Charged Attack Rock Slide.
- Rookidee (Shiny Unavailable): Evolving Rookidee’s evolution Corvisquire results in a Corviknight with the Pokemon GO Charged Attack Air Cutter.
- Lechonk (Shiny Available): Evolving it results in an Oinkologne with the Charged Attack Disarming Voice.
Wimpod and Rookidee are the best choices that can grow into a powerhouse compared to Frillish and Lechonk. It would be better if you selected Wimpod and Rookidee.

There is only one way to vote for the August Community Day event. You must visit the official Pokemon GO YouTube channel from June 7, at 6 PM PDT to June 8, at 6 PM PDT. You can vote in a poll on the official in-game YouTube channel. The Pokemon with the most votes will be announced shortly after voting ends and will be featured on August Community Day.
