Pokemon GO has revealed the specific Community Day dates that fans can look forward to next season. For years now, Pokemon GO has hosted special Community Day events that dramatically increase the odds of players encountering shiny Pokemon. Besides increasing the spawn rate of the featured Pokemon, Pokemon GO Community Day events often come with other bonuses.

Pokemon GO Community Day events give players plenty of reasons to participate. Typically, Pokemon GO Community Day events come with XP and item bonuses, so even if one isn't necessarily interested in the featured Pokemon, it is still worth their while to get out and catch as many Pokemon as possible. One of the best reasons to participate in Pokemon GO Community Day is to acquire Pokemon with exclusive moves that can only be learned while the event is active. Luckily, Pokemon GO players can now mark their calendars for the Community Day events coming in June, July, and August.

Scopely has confirmed that Pokemon GO Community Day events will take place on June 21, July 5, July 6, July 20, and August 30. The two-day Community Day event from July 5 to July 6 will be a special Community Day Classic, meaning it will feature Pokemon that have headlined previous Community Days. The other Community Day events in June, July, and August will likely showcase Pokemon that haven't been a part of Community Days in the past, but the featured Pokemon have not been announced at the time of this writing.

Pokemon GO didn't stop at announcing the Community Day events for the next few months. The popular augmented reality mobile game confirmed dates for other events on the horizon as well, with Raid Day on July 12, Max Battle Day on July 19, Max Battle Weekend on July 26-July 27, Research Day on August 2, Max Battle Day on August 3, Hatch Day on August 9, Raid Day on August 10, Shadow Raid Weekend on August 16-August 17, and finally, another Raid Day on August 31.

Clearly, Pokemon GO players are going to be kept plenty busy this summer, but these events are just the tip of the iceberg. The annual Pokemon GO Fest will take place in July, and plenty of new content is expected to make its way to the game in the months ahead as well. Fans were understandably skeptical when Scopely bought Pokemon GO, but it seems the content pipeline for the game isn't slowing down any time soon.
