For the Jungle Cup: Great League, there are a few requirements that players will need to keep in mind, the first of which is the CP requirement. Considering that this is a part of the Great League, the regular 1,500 CP restriction applies to all Pokemon. This means that players can use any Pokemon that is at or below 1,500 CP for this league.

For instance, using a Steel and Ground-type Pokemon like Steelix, it is crucial that they have something like Altaria in their team, which will be able to counter all of Steelix's Ground, Fire, Fighting, and Water-type weaknesses.

Steel-type Pokemon have been a part of the meta for Great League for quite a while now due to their high defensive stats. While players can't use pure Steel types for the Jungle Cup, players can find a way around it by using Pokemon like Skarmory and Steelix, which have a second type that meets the requirements of the league. Additionally, Clodsire and other Pokemon that can use Mud Shot are equally useful, since they can use Charged moves more frequently and whittle down the HP of opposing Pokemon.
